At Endhome, we recently had the pleasure of assisting a couple, Alex and Selena, with the legal work involved in adding partial ownership to their home. Alex wanted to add 50% partial ownership in the capacity of “Tenants in common” to his partner of 3 years, Selena. They had already drafted their own cohabitation agreement prior to approaching us.

The process began when Alex signed up online at www.endhome.ca/deals and was referred to us by his mortgage broker. Within just 45 minutes, we matched him with a real estate lawyer who was the perfect fit for his needs.

After a complimentary phone call to answer any questions and provide an overview of the process, Alex received an email from his legal team with instructions on how to proceed and prepare for the final closing. It’s that easy, a quick call and next steps outlined in writing!

At Endhome, we understand that legal work related to real estate transactions can be complex and time-consuming. That’s why we strive to provide top-quality service that is both efficient and convenient for our clients. Our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible, so our clients can stay hands-off and confident in their legal provider.

For Alex and Selena, their refinance and title transfer cost $1,400, and they also required Independent Legal Advice (ILA) for Selena which cost $450. Despite the added ILA, their total cost was still under $2,000, and they were able to receive white glove service throughout the entire process.

At Endhome, we pride ourselves on our ability to handle even the most complex real estate transactions with ease and efficiency. If you’re in need of legal services related to real estate transactions, contact us today to see how we can help you.
